Considering the tremendous amount of students at- tending Valley, Marie delespinasse stands out as one who has well-balanced her extra-curricular activities by taking part in a variety of interests. Her involvement in activities included Concert, Pep and marching bands and Clark County Honor Band. Marie was also secretary of NHS and senior rep. in band council. She has been a member of such clubs as German Club, Creative Writing, and the editorial staff of Valley Voices. Marie shows a special talent when she communicates with the hearing impaired through sign language. Marie's future includes attending Eastern New Mexico University and majoring in communicative disorders. You may have a tough time keeping up with this very active senior, for David Carothers is always on the run. If he is not doing one of his hobbies, like scuba diving and skiing, you may find him running around Valley trying to get things in order. David refounded the Ski Club, which has been very popular with the students of Valley. He was also the founder and captain of the Yell Leaders, who work with the cheerleaders to promote spirit at the games and assemblies. After graduation, David plans to continue cheering as a Yell Leader at Pepper- dine Univ. There he will major in business administration and pre-med. David's fondest memory of Valley High will be the people. Todd Phillips, better known as Le Prez, should not only be remembered at Valey High for his Le Car and Le lokes, but also for the dedication and hard work he has put forth during his years at Valley. He has been Student Body President for two years and a member of the German Club. If being in Student Council was not enough, Todd also pursued his hobbies and interests. These include theatre, singing and tennis. Todd's most memorable time at Valley was his 1983 Homecoming assembly and game. He stated, When something that you put all your efforts and time into comes out that well, you cannot help but feel proud. Todd has left memories for Valley as Valley has made memories for Todd. So vote for me Damencele DiPasqua, the long name with the D's . If this famous quote does not sound familiar to you, you obviously have been snoozing through election campaigns for the past three years. Damencele has been elected officer of virtually every club on campus including Spanish Club, Gavel Club, and honor society. Public speaking is Damencele's first love, and she has won numerous awards in both local and state-wide competitions. Damencele hopes to someday say, T his is Damencele Di Pasqua with the 6:00 news on T.V. There is not doubt that this wish will become a reality as Damencele has succeeded in everything she has attempted thus far. 168 Activitie SHEIW 'FfHfFl'l' THEY
