They keep score, run the time clock, and cheer the wrestlers on to victory. The eighteen Wrestlerettes also prepare a box full of nutritious snacks as a reward at one of the matches. F at y X i Jil- Q'z1w if 3 n l- 3 You don't have to be tall to be a member of the Tall Flags Team. You do have to be hard-working and devoted. The team consisted of thirteen girls who were chosen last spring after much practice and competitive try-outs. Under the guidance of a new adviser, Mrs. Cathy Spina, and led by Captains Karen Moss and Paula Ackley, the team worked closely with the band performing at football halftimes and other shows, such as the Halftime Review. They also performed at away foot- ball games, basketball games, and assemblies. Last summer the girls attended a United Spirit Association Camp in Santa Barbara. They left with many superior ribbons and a trophy for their hard work. They also com- peted with the band at a marching com- petition Oct. 30-31 in La Habra, CA., and received a second place trophy. -J' 5 spin: 235
