Through much competition and hard work, Men's Cross-Country completed its season by winning the Zone title, third in the State, and second in the Sunset Division. Graduating seniors were Scott Miller, Robert Bainbridge, Stephen Laforge, and Bill Pappas. Bill also won the Individual State Championship. The Men's Tennis Team served, rallied, and aced their way to a great season. The team was very young this year due to the presence of only three seniors: Ivan Nathanson, Timmy Lassooy, and Chris Hudson. However, with the help of juniors jerry Huckabee, lames Geracci, Rod Bigelow, Nick Mihalko, and Tony Homsby, the Viking team proved to be successful. The sophomore players, lohn Sharpe, Robert Tomiyasu, and Tony Lundberg added their youthful enthusiasm to keep the spirits alive throughout the season. Last, but not least Qof coursej, was the rough and tough freshman, Ron Sperry. All of the players proved they could handle the heat of the season and gave their all to capture an overall 7-3 record.
