The lV's were a very exciting team. They went from a selfish, weak mental attitude to a team with a strong A abominable will to win. It was most gratifying to witness this spectacle, commented Coach Cam. With players like Kevin Scott and Brad Bender, the lV's pull- ed off a 4-5 record. After David Caroon was injured and unable to play, the team voted him honorary captain for the rest of the season. 9555.51

Front row: David Mahon, Bill Mclemore, Pat Mclemore, Brian Bufone, Bob Engel, and Mike Roach. The 1983-84 Viking wrestling team consisted of a group of young, energetic team members. This year the team was led by Brian Buffone and Pat McLemore. These two received help from two seniors, four juniors, and seven sophomores. The team's overall record was 15-7. The highlight of the wrestling team's season was when they won first place in the San Die- quito Tournament.
