The magnitude of various clubs at VHS had a wide assortment of activities to coordinate. To assure that all of these activities occur as planned, Inter-Club Council meetings were held on the last Wednesday of each month. Each club elected an ICC representative to at- tend these meetings and present its monthly club program. Careful planning was important to make sure that duplications did not occur, such as hav- ing three bake sales in the same week. The planning of the Inter-Club Council assisted in providing a wide choice of activities for all --e 5--- r--- students in which to become involved. Are your harms 1 and 2 significant? If not, you must not be in Gavel Club. Valley High's debate team competed at different high schools in Las Vegas. They also 'U traveled to tournaments in San Diego, Arizona, and Reno. The purpose of the club is to raise funds to travel to the out-of-town tournaments. With the talents of top debaters Damencele DiPasqua and Margaret Splawn, Valley often dominated local and out-of-town tour- naments. In Lincoln-Douglas debate, Greg Koppe and Scott Stavrou showed competitors that Valley has the skill to win. ln individual event categories, once again Damencele DiPasqua and lodi Herman showed their stuff and took top honors.
