They sing various top 40 songs, jazz, and hits from Broadway musicals to entertain their audiences. They were painted by the talented students known as Students for an Artistic Society. This club enjoyed drawing, painting, and doing anything that had to do with art. During the '83-'84 school year SAS reached many goals. They painted the senior mural Born to Soar, the new science mural on the ramp, and they also painted Valley's annual Christmas card which was placed on the corner of Vegas Valley and Eastern. Pat Carter, vice president of SAS said, This group has an unquenchable thirst to beautify Valley and the community. lf you looked around Valley, you would have seen how true this was. SAS 141
