en's Valley's men's tennis team has three strong singles start- ers who are Sammy Alvarez, Philip Agassi, and Mike Marquizp these players have been getting most of the team points. The other positions are rotated every match, and without a great deal of depth, they have a winning season, says Coach Engen. The J V football team had a very good season, the re- cord was 8 wins and 1 loss. Coaches Whited, Little- field, and Gray taught the team the basics of football to prepare them for varsity football. With a strong push in the defense and the offense, we kept the victo- ries coming. The help of the school's spirit backed the team to become city 1 champs. Our team hopes to X maintain their high stan- My W dards for next year.
