The Girls Athletic Association's main purpose is the active support of all women's athletics at Valley High School. GAA's activities include fund raisers such as spirit but- tons and ribbon sales, car washes, and bake sales. All monies earned are used by offering scholarships to sen- iors interested in becoming P.E. teachers. They have an annual athletics awards banquet held each spring. Members go to all games and represent the spirit of Valley. Pep Club sells buttons, has car washes, and holds many other events to raise money to have a big float at Homecoming and to buy shirts representing the Pep Club.
