Mr. Peterson The Valley Architects is a new club this year. It was started by students interested in bettering their archi- tectural skills and knowledge. Some of their activities include having guest speakers, going to construction sites, and raising money for a scholarship. The scholarship will be presented to the most out- standing club member, meeting certain requirements. By selling floor plans, they hope to raise 5500 for the scholarship fund. Club officers are Brad Friedman, president, John An- derson, vice-president, jim VanCompernolle, secre- tary, and Mike Ianett, treasurer. Mr. Edgar Peterson is the adviser.

Chris Bogart 5. Mr. Perez This is a club of scientists and engineers who enjoy making balsa wood structures. Mr. Rubin Perez, the adviser, requires one of these structures every two months. They ask construction and engineering companies for donations as a means of support. They use this money for trophies for the students who make the lightest weight structures that can take the most stress. The officers are Brian Steinberg, president, Chris Bogart, vice-president, Jeff Connors, secretaryg and Robert Katz, treasurer.
