The students work in the school and in the community to create an artistical- ly aware society. They are currently working for a trip to Pasadina to the art museum by having an Art fair and painting windows during the holidays to raise money. The adviser Mr. LeRoy Parker.

DETOUR QW 42 The Valley Tour Guides are a group of girls organized to assist unfamiliar students and parents around the school. They serve refreshments at Open House and greet parents at the door. They work to convince oth- ers that a pollution problem does ex- ist and that they should be aware of it. There are fund raisers held to bring in money for trees.

Chris Bogart 5. Mr. Perez This is a club of scientists and engineers who enjoy making balsa wood structures. Mr. Rubin Perez, the adviser, requires one of these structures every two months. They ask construction and engineering companies for donations as a means of support. They use this money for trophies for the students who make the lightest weight structures that can take the most stress. The officers are Brian Steinberg, president, Chris Bogart, vice-president, Jeff Connors, secretaryg and Robert Katz, treasurer.
