Davis, Scott Logan, Steve Lochner, and Greg Albright. Valley's Varsity Football This years football team showed an extreme amount of pride and desire despite their 4-5 season. The Vikings were hampered by injuries to key players Steve Lochner, Willie Langford, and Chris Smith. The team consisted of only 13 seniors in 44 players. This young team was in every game to the very end and proved that it could compete despite their handicaps, said Coach Johnson. He continued, With the experience coming back, next year will be a football championship for Valley High School. VHS Western Coach Curtis, head coach of the J. V. Football team, felt that the team preformed well during the season despite the record. 'LeGary Stowers, Lonnie Wiley, Dino Petruzzi, Larry Graves, Roy Henry, and An- thony Maccioli should be able to jump right in and help the Varsity team next year, said Coach Curtis. He feels the Varsity should be one of the top teams in Las Vegas next year.
