Gir1's basketball was organized this year for the first time in V.H. S. history. Limited practice hours added to the complexity of the task, but the girls proved that with effort a decent showing can be made. The season was a success in the sense that the fundamentals of the game were introduced and carried out to some degree of efficiency. The future looks bright with the returning varsity, as well as the many reserves and junior high which showed promise throughout the year. Only two seniors, Georgene Boardman and Debbie Odell, will be leaving. f - -N
