It requires efficiency as well as knowledge of layout rules and school functions. Mr. Harper and Joan Farwell are going for their second year straight as Advisor and Editor, along with their worthy crew, the Staff. Real Thing is meeting deadlines with a satisfactory production of layouts. 44

Spanish Club EL CLUB de ESPANOL Spanish Club has had a variety of ac- tivities this year, ranging from pick- ing corn to selling tacos. These money-making projects are to help with the financial costs of a trip to Mexico during the summer for some of the students. It hasn't been all work though. At Christmas the club ate at El Charro's and later had a party at the Johnson home. The offi- cers this year have been Ruth Emerson - Presidentg Vicki Bothwell - Secretary -Treasurerg and Lori Johnson - News Reporter. All of the 15 members have played an equal part in both fun and work. 43

Logic and Intuitive Thinking Mr. and Mrs. Dounay arrive each morning while many of the students are still in bed. Mr. Konaniz doesn't make it until later, but then Mercuries wake up earlier than do Volkswagons. Little cars like lit- tle children need more sleep. If its happening in Physics or Chemistry or Math, these people are involved. 45
