Spanish Club EL CLUB de ESPANOL Spanish Club has had a variety of ac- tivities this year, ranging from pick- ing corn to selling tacos. These money-making projects are to help with the financial costs of a trip to Mexico during the summer for some of the students. It hasn't been all work though. At Christmas the club ate at El Charro's and later had a party at the Johnson home. The offi- cers this year have been Ruth Emerson - Presidentg Vicki Bothwell - Secretary -Treasurerg and Lori Johnson - News Reporter. All of the 15 members have played an equal part in both fun and work. 43

N When she arrives every morning W falmost on timej she jumps into her work with enthusiasm and with energy to burn. She runs through her schedule with the grace of a woman basketball player but with infinitely more skill. Keeping with an old Spanish tradition, Mrs. Lenz firmly believes in the siesta and at the end of her day, she rests. Para los alumnos en la clase de espanol fue un ano prospero. It requires efficiency as well as knowledge of layout rules and school functions. Mr. Harper and Joan Farwell are going for their second year straight as Advisor and Editor, along with their worthy crew, the Staff. Real Thing is meeting deadlines with a satisfactory production of layouts. 44
