When the Falcons were nearly mad with festive spirit, they congregated in the auditorium for a chance to expend it. The Color Day assembly fea- tured everything from Soupy to Nuts fplenty of lemj, who got a chance to show us how cracked they were in Kangaroo Court. Even the irreproachable teach- ers were found guilty by unobserved perjury and sentenced for the day by the Valley version of parliamentary procedure. Color Day The call to colors sounded at Valley on the morning of Friday, October 27, and loyal Falcons responded in full dress array of blue and gold. l i ld I! u Panorama That evening the fabulous fighting Falcons mashed, mauled, mangled, and mutilated the Costa Mesa Mustangs, 20-7. We got a chance to show our true colors when the Color Day Queen and Court were presented to the stands at halftime. , l . . ,vtwx y I-N ,xx .gnu t uuixg Immediately following this resounding victory, the Falcons finished up the day in grand style with a sock hop in the gym. Presided over by witches, goblins, and ghosts, the dance was reminiscent of another holiday not quite so dear to the hearts of Valley as their own Color Day. l 1 J .2 j
