Viking Day ended in disappointment, as the Cibola Cougars upset the Vikes 24-14. In spite ot blowing snow, Judge Chavez managed to complete IO ot 14 passes for one touchdown. A run by Tony Perkins re- sulted in the other score. Viking fans and alumni were also disappointed when, because of the freezing weather, Queen Gloria Romero and her princesses were unable to participate in the traditional halftime festivities. , Homecoming 29
