O O Gver IOO Viking Turn Gut For H'coming Decoratin Homecoming Activities began with the igniting of one of the biggest bonfires Valley has ever had. The bonfire ignited Valley's spirit week. For the first time students wore each of the different school colors on particular days. Most homerooms participated in the traditional dec- orating of their doors. Although there were many dec- orated doors, they were only the beginning of the dec- orating that took place. ln the gym, the seniors and student council members were busy decorating for the climaxing Homecoming Assembly. Court Chosen From Top 2I oo o o o o Interested seniors attended a night assembly to elect top 20 girls for Viking Court try-outs. Twenty- one were chosen because of a tie between two contestants. A multiple theme, Days of Fu- tures Past, was used in creating and decorating the gymnasium for the '76 Homecoming assembly 'No- vember l2 when the court was presented and the Queen and Prin- cesses were crowned. 4- iv ? , 26 E.
