Celebra tes 1 9th Ann ual Homecoming October marked the celebration of Valley's 19th annual Viking Day. There's Got to Be a Morning After seemed an appropriate theme which was used throughout the homecom- ing festivities. Queen Ruthy reigned over the assembly, game, and dance. The dance was held at the Univer- sity's Student Union Ballroom. The dance concluded the activities for the 1973 Viking Homecoming. Upper left: During the Homecoming Assem- bly, the cheerleaders sing The Valley Legend to the queen and her court. Upper right: Crownbearers this year were Lisa Rob- ertson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Rob- ertson, and Tracy Ewing, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Ewing.
