Prizes of ribbons and money were won by Tom Arundale, Don Radley, Ronnie Case, and Bill Van Cundy. One of the most talked about activities of the FFA was their annual Sweetheart Party held this year in November. The FFA elected as their sweetheart Georgia Zolman, who was presented with a sweetheart jacket. Among the clulfs activities was a parent and son banquet held in February during FFA week. The boys also participated in a contest in Las Cruces during the first week in April. This contest included farm mechanics, crops, livestock, poultry, dairy, tractor driving, public speaking, and parliamentary procedure. The sponsor of the club is their teacher, Mr. Head.
