M O Death is a word and a thing that strikes each one of us in a strange and different way. There were many strong and mixed emotions when we lost a great Viking. Paul Harlles Nutter, Sr., an honorary Viking, passed on to the arms of the Ageless Shep- herd on June 13, 1958. Mr. Nutter was a well-liked, quiet, and soft-spoken man who served the Valley High School students for four years. He was gentle but firm and earned the respect of the students. His absence has created a void in the lives of the friends he left behind, but we cannot forget that we are a better people because we knew him here on earth.
