l'lt l'URED ABOVE ARE MRS LUCAS AND MR. STAPLETON who assist Mrs. Ferguson in her duties as acting principal of Valley High School. Mr. Stapleton also serves as counselor and Mrs. Lucas was sponsor of the Junior Class before taking over her new duties. ONE of the favorite people around Valley is Miss Nell Bowers, who is our secretary and bookkeeper. She takes care of our co-ops and fi- nances of all sorts. She is very accurate in handling these finances and she deserves a real pat on the back. 8 MRS. BELL is here early every morning working hard to keep the attendance record of every Valley student intact. She is busy all day receiving calls and writing per- mits. For her trait of unrelenting patience, Mrs. Bell should be com- plimented. MR. LALICKER is also in the at- tendance office working equally as hard on our attendance records. Bc- sides working in the office, he coaches the Freshman Football and Basketball teams. Mr. Lalick- er also became a proud new father of a baby girl this year.

Q- ,. -.-...,.,-. f-...M ,, -..A In the West Building we find the Cafeteria where our students have the good habit of eatingg our well-equipped Home Ec. Dept. where both boys and girls enroll and become better Home Economists, Also our Commercial Dept. where students prepare for their future livelihoods. The Library, which has shelves of books and plenty of chairs and tables where students groan over term papers and tests. A - Mm l In the shop building we find Mechanical Drawing classes, Drafting classes, General Math classes, and some of the boys can work on their cars. Mr. Liebert's Shop classes are very interesting to look into. Anything that can be made from wood can be found. In one corner is a flower box and in the other, what do you see? A gun cabinet. Boys like Mr. Liebert's classes because they are not only educational, but loads of fun.
