'im .pf 439 MISS GLADYS ROLLINGS, who taught in the West Terre Haute Schools from 1917 to 1954 is a graduate of Valley, Class of 1916, and received her bachelor and master's degrees from ISTC. In her many years of service, she taught 2nd and 3rd grades at South School, 5th and 6th grades at North School, Iunior High School, and Latin, mathematics, and English at Valley from 1924 to 1954. To Miss Rollings, every graduate of Valley owes a large debt of gratitude. MRS AMELIA GILMOUR who has taught in the West Terra Haute Schools slnce 1930 has for the last four years served as sponsor of the Class of 1959. She has stood with us through class plays, parties, magazine sales, the Iunior Prom, class meetings, and shows, without neglecting to introduce us to the French language and teach us history. She has been the best sponsor any class ever has had, and to her we give our undying affec- tion and gratitude. To these two fine teachers, it is the privilege and honor of the Class of 1959 to DEDICATE THIS ISSUE OF THE VALLEY ECHO.
