Dick Perian assembles a clock radio. Students Investigate Machinery Students who were interested in furthering their knowledge of automotive mechanics joined the Auto- motive Club. This year, as a special project, they assembled a car frame and engine, labeling its parts for display. The club, under the direction of Mr. Robert Kovacs, also sponsored special guest speakers. Promotion of electronics experimenting is the basic aim of the Radio Electronics Club. Supervising members and assisting them in the creation of various projects is Mr. Carl Grolle, club adviser. Composed of head announcer Jackie Falken- Rich Martin prepares p,.0jeCt0r for stein and six other announcers, it presents the Morning classroom use. Show, which helps students plan their daily routines by providing a complete activity schedule. AVA's main function is to aid the faculty. Mr. Elliott directs during a . - ,M . , . ,als V , ,. A Cappella choir practice. Girls' Choir rehearses for the Christmas Chorale. A Cappella And Gir1's The finest in choral excellence at Valley Forge was displayed by the 1965-66 A Cappella Choir. Mr. John F. Elliott directs the ninety-two melodious voices. Leadership and organization were given by this year's officers: President, Roy Hasbrookg Vice-President, Richard Boyer, Secre- taries, James Meinke and Suzanne Ratzloff 3 and Treasurers, Suzanne Arndt and Kathleen Riley. Besides the traditional concert, the Christmas season activities included a festive party and caroling at Parma Community Hospital and at the annual Parma Heights tree-burning ceremony. In the spring, A Cap- pella participated in the LEL Choir Festival and district and state contests. The A Cappella Choir ended the 1965-66 season with a spring concert and a performance at commencement. To become a memorable performing group the Girls' Choir strived for exactness of blend and dynamics. The choir presented selections ranging from pre-classical to contemporary music. Mr. Elliott conducted the girls in the District Band and Choir Contest in the spring. The choir participated in local concerts and in the Sound of Music production.
