Advised by Mrs. Carole Snoddy and Miss Margie Smith, these volunteer pages answer questions and help the students whenever possible. The entire student body benefits from the service of the pages. The main office pages increase the efficiency of Valley Forge. They aid the office personnel by answering phones, informing students, filing, and running errands. Because the pages willingly work during their study halls and lunch periods, the work of the office staff is lightened. Attendance Office Pages must be able to execute orders with pleasant efficiency. These students agree to work during their free periods. Answering tele- phones, recording attendance, keeping schedules in order, and answering the questions are just a few of the many tasks pages perform. In Librar And Bookstore Cris Ferencz and Jan Werkner prepare the bookstore for morning customers. One of Mr. Dunfor-d's senior English students buys her vocabulary book. .Q H of ,sg 4,.,. Al Bachner purchases a book for his U. S. Government class. A world of enjoyment and excitement may be purchased for a small price from the paper- back bookstore. Fiction, non-fiction, reference and language books compose the large selection of books offered. Many students volunteer their free periods to work in the paperback book- store. These students, under the supervision of Mr. David Grodhaus, serve as clerks. The stu- dents' responsibilities include keeping shelves in order, selling books, and keeping records of purchases.
