ophomores Commence Their High Sophomores Starting its first year at Valley Forge, the Sophomore Class quickly acclimated itself to the tempo of high school life. Inexperienced in the ways of a large high school, the Sophomores were coaxed into buying elevator passes, polishing seniors' shoes, and performing other curious chores. These trials became small payment for the exciting events of the school year. The school spirit contest, the successful J .V. football season, the excellent float for Homecoming, and the Sophomore Dance all have blended into pleasant memories. The experiences of its sophomore year have made the Class of 1968 an integral part of Valley Forge. Preparing for the Valley Forge-Shaw game, sophomore girls encourage school spirit. 148 Sophomore class officers dis- cuss future plans with their advisor, Mrs. Horrigan. Seated are Cleft to rightj Secretary, Sheryl J ansmag Treasurer, Pat Lohmanng Standing are Vice President, Ron Rauthg Presi- dent, Kerry Gubics.
