This year Valley Forge initiated two Hi-Y clubs, the Saxons and Centurians, who, along with the Archons, Olympians, and Tritons, helped to motivate worthy school projects. The Hi-Y clubs served the community through projects, which in- cluded collecting for the Health Fund and the Heart Fund. In addition to their Y.M.C.A. activities, the clubs worked in state-wide programs. The clubs met every Monday at the Ridgewood Y.M.C.A. Most clubs were advised by a member of the Valley Forge faculty. THIRD ROW: The Xanthian Y-Teens, under the direc- tion of Miss Donna Buys, met on the second and fourth Monday of each month in order to promote World fellowship through the Y.W.C.A. The officers were: Sue Meeth, president, Mel Radlick, vice-president, Linda Zaccaro, secretary, and Marcia Duke, treasurer. The Y-Teens service project for the year was having each girl in the club act as a big sister to some less fortunate girl.
