C Boys' Organizations Spark Enthusiasm J L The Boys' Booster Club, advised by Mr. David Kaiser, performed many services for the students at Valley Forge. The club's main project was a jazz concert. The pro- ceeds Were used to send our basketball team to the National Invitation Tournament in Madison Square Garden. Over one-hundred students belong to this organization. The Valley Forge Lettermen's Club, led by president Bob Truscello and the adviser, Mr. Robert Ramlow, ushered at basketball games and sponsored the student-faculty game and dance. Members of Girls' Boosters sell programs at football games. Over two-hundred girls were members of the Valley Forge Girls' Booster Club this year. Regular attendance at monthly meet- ings, and service on one of the committees, were the membership requirements. Boosters sold programs and shakers at games, made tags, and built a homecoming float. They also sponsored an all-school dance. Officers for 1964-1965 were Cathy Chaf- fin, presidentg Donna Griesbach, first vice-presidentg Chris Thomas, second vice- presidentg Marian Todor, secretaryg and Carol Garofalo, treasurer. Mrs. Sandra Way was the faculty adviser. Girls entertain at a football pep assembly. During the past summer, certain high school juniors throughout Ohio were chosen to attend the American Legion project, Girls' and Boys' State. The students were also given lectures by Governor Rhodes and other officials to help them understand government processes better.
