Service to the school and community is the Key Club's purpose. It has had a very busy year. The club again published the school calendar and continued to assist a paralyzed girl with her exercises. The Key Club also sponsored the first annual Leader- ship Banquet for the organization leaders of the school. The members took part in the United Appeal drive and made many chari- table contributions to needy families during the holiday seasons. The club, sponsored by the Kiwanis, was advised by Mr. Walter Schlemmer. Dick relates his experiences at the National Youth Council on the Atom. THIRD ROW: Buker, Fricker, Valent, Goodyear, Scott, Sullivan, Folsom, Buchholz, Fuller, Hartleib. President Ken Fritz, discusses future plans with club members. FOURTH ROW: Patrick, Schenke, Smeal, Calaway, Rusynyk, Shott, Kamps, Bukhair, Harden. FIFTH ROW: Kriska, Bogus, Necker, Kijanko, Schumacher, Kozimor, Branst. Bud and Ed survey the food collected for a needy family.

SECOND ROW: Sikula, assistant secretaryg Soucie, Nygeres, Green, Dacre, Hartleib, Fazakas, Messerknecht, Toth, Fowler, Burmeister, Kelch, Faenza. THIRD ROW: Behner, Maudsley, Griffith, Tillman, The Boys' Glee Club, directed by Mr. John Elliott, was the largest and most successful Boys' Glee yet at Valley Forge. Zadzilka, Mooradian, Zunt, Caron, Reichert, Coseriu, Schmidt, Kovach, Zingale. FOURTH ROW: Salamon, Suchan, Malusky, Warner, Richardson, Mitterholzer, Wohl, Spindler, Rudyk, Voglein, treasurer, Miller, Fisher, Kaye. FIFTH ROW: Leiby, president, Morse, Mitchell, Jennings, Fackler, Fill, Hunter, Shawan, O'Donnell, Gumz, Thompson, Graham. The club sang their major concerts in the Winter and the spring. MADRIGAL SINGERS BOTTOM ROW: Beal, Reik, Weber, Fernelius, Burke, Bright, Nielsen, Ratzloff, Hosic. SECOND ROW: Branst, Broggini, Crawford, Zavotka, Trus- cello, Haberkost, Schenke, Foster. The Madrigal Sing- ers was a group com- prised of sixteen mem- bers selected from the A Cappella Choir. During the past year, they presented both secular and religious music for many con- certs and programs.

SECOND ROW: Slach, Antonelli, Chaffin. THIRD ROW: Dimitruk, Geiger, Pergler, Burke. FOURTH ROW: Brown, Bukhair, Franklin, Caves FIFTH ROW: Chandler, Radlick, Kulosar, Gumz. The annual Care Dance, a big' success this spring, was the major event sponsored by the Canteen Committee. Officers of the fifteen member committee were Lee Major, chairmang Sue Meeth, vice-presidentg Kathi Schwan, secretaryg and Dave Bohmer, treas- urer. The faculty advisor was Mr. Donald Dinsmore. Money raised at dances during' the year was used for scholarships and books.
