Foreign Languages Broaden Horizons LATIN CLUB BOTTOM ROW: Benke, Christman, sec- retaryg Jones, treasurer: Lohmann, president, Dahn, vice-president, Bubuli, Werkner. SECOND ROW: Balotta, Vita. Romana was just one of the many topics members of the Latin Club discussed at their meetings. The club, which furthered the students' interest in Latin life, was ad- vised by Miss Mary Chambers. Banquets, movies, and lectures were included in the club's program. In the spring, the club sponsored a Latin Week. Ferencz, Bray, Waffen, Cameron, Strimiska, Geiger. THIRD ROW: McCann, Bogesch, Pavluk, Tisma, Junno, Reed. A Christmas pifiata, the annual spring picnic, and a dinner at La Restaurante Mexi- cana kept members of the Spanish Club busy during the past year. Officers were Sharon Hermanson, president, Lynn Needham and Susan Hermanson, vice-presidents, Kathy Kaiser, secretary, and Jim Maudsley, treas- urer. Mrs. Gail Wagner was the adviser. Their main duties were filing, delivering requests, answering phones, and giving information to students. The pages, courteous, tactful, and Will- ing to Work, deserved the respect and con- sideration of the student body. The Radio Experimental Club provided a place for its members to gain exper- ience in electronics and lab Work. The club was organ- ized in 1960. Licensed members put together and operated a ham radio set during study halls and free periods. Officers were Al Bachner, presidentg Eric Dod, vice-president, and secretary-treasurer, Larry Jennings. Advisers Were Mr. Robert Jones and Mr. Carl Grolle. RADIO EXPERIMENTAL CLUB BOTTOM ROW: Kelch, Jennings, secretary- treasurerg Bachner, president, Dod, vice-president, Sellers. SECOND ROW: Mr Grolle, Czech, Davis, Murmeister, Mr. Jones. THIRD ROW: Perin, Weber Hasman, Sienczak, Greenberg. The Valley Forge Automotive Club brought together students Who show- ed special talent and interest in auto- motive mechanics. Advised by Mr. Kovacs at Weekly meetings, the club sponsored speakers, special projects, and problems involving the collective talents of the members who gained valuable experience through these meetings. The Automotive Club mechanics ponder over the intricacies of a motor.
