Also, the fifty members of Thespians rehearsed long' hours to make the fall play, The Swan, and the spring play successful. A special project for the Thespians this year was the Halloween Hop. Literary Staffs Work Hard to Attain Editors Rae Mendat, Bob Buker, and Bob Truscello proofread the finished product. The year 1964-65 was organization year for the Battlecry. The main staff con- sisted of twelve students from the journalism class, but twenty free-lance writers also contributed stories. The Battlecry kept the student body informed of happenings in school and around the community. The newspaper's The Battlecry comes without fail. main purpose, however, was to be a labora- tory classroom for journalism students. The requirements for staff members were talent and aggressiveness. Bob Buker was the editor this year: and faculty advisers were Mrs. Deanna Bontempo and Mr. Kenneth Noetzel.
