l I Intramural student director, Sharon J ohnson. Sportheads meet to organize Intramural Sports. Sporthead Club Girls' intramural activities at Valley Forge this year were planned and executed with the aid of the twenty-four members of Sportheads. This service club was started in 1963 because of the need for organiza- tion in intramurals. Requirements for membership in theclub were: an active inter- est in sports and adequate time to devote to the intramural program. Duties included scheduling teams and tournaments, keep- ing all attendance records, and setting up the equipment for each sport. Miss Mary Beth Stonebraker and Miss Nancy Stephen advised the club and Sharon Johnson was the Student Intramural Director.

Girls participate in the precisioned sport of basketball. Girls' Leader officiates a baseball gan in Participation in Intramurals The Girls' Intramurals Club under the direction of Miss Mary Beth Stone-braker met on different nights for the various sports offered. In the fall, softball and tennis were the main sports. With Winter came basketball and volleyball. Apparatus and track were the main events of spring. A rela- tively new sport, skiing, proved to be very enter- taining and educational as a great number of the students participated. This year forty first-year awards, fifteen second-year awards and five third- year awards were granted to those girls who have taken an active part in the intramurals program. Tl
