CROSS COUNTRY TEAM BOTTOM ROW: Dallesan- dro, Weber, Baronak, Detore, Baronak, Burney, Dimi- truk, Nye. SECOND ROW: Pacopi, Gural, Groenke, Subin, Fuller, Charvat, Kempton, Melanik, Rea, Marr, In spite of Captain Rick Steinfadt's superb record of fifteen straight Wins, which was abruptly halted by a broken foot in the latter part of the season, the Harriers placed only sixth in competition with other LEL cross country teams. This year, the league's competition was quite strong. Three of the teams placed in Lempner. THIRD ROW: Melda, Pletka, Graham, Sulli- van, Reho, Kispert, Steinfadt, Higgins, Lange, Patric, Haberchak, Reichelt, Fisher, Coach Mindek. the top ten in the state. Last year Rick Steinfadt placed third in the state, but, due to his injury this year, he was not able to improve his rating. Patriots Raise a Racket for Victory Valley Forge's 1964 tennis team Won three games and lost four Closing three of the four matches by a 3-2 countj. The team placed fourth in the rugged LEL competi- tion. Under the coaching of Mr. James Riha, the netters practiced long hours. They continually strove for improvement and displayed both team and competitive spirit. The high spot of the season was the fall LEL Tournament Where David Bohmer and Dale Stelz were undefeated in the second doubles. The team had two three-year lettermen this yearg captain Donald Haberkost and David Bohmer. Bohmer and Stelz set for an undefeated season.
