The boys char- tered the buses to all the away games during both football and basketball seasons. Also, the club sold the Patriot Sketch Book, a review and record of the 1962 football season. At the annual Dadls Night game, the Boys Boosters Club treated the players' fathers to coffee, doughnuts, and cigars. During the basket- ball season, the members of the club worked behind the concession stand selling popcorn, pop, and candy. Although this was the club's first operating year, it was successful with its many endeavors.

THIRD ROW: Mary Ann Janda, Peggy Mruk, Diane Jost, Diane Creating more understanding in the intelli- gent choice of business occupations and develop- ing competent business leadership were two of the primary purposes of the Future Business Leaders of America Club, advised by Mrs. Helen Chase and Miss Rita Geroski. The group held a candy sale and a bake sale to raise money for a scholarship which was given to a senior pursuing a business course of study. The club also contributed food to needy families at Thanksgiving. Pat Evanchak was elected reporter in the North- eastern district of the Future Business Leaders of America, and the Valley Forge chapter prepared a periodic newspaper. This newspaper was a collection of club news which was distributed to every chapter several times during the year. Membership was open to all interested girls. Among the group's many projects were the homecoming display, the production and distribution of pep tags, Valley Forge Patriot booster button sales, and a dance in January. The girls donated baskets of food to needy families at Thanks- giving and Christmas.
