GROUNDS FOR OUR F TURE LE DERS Serving as the essential link between T faculty and student body, the 1963- 64 Valley Forge Student Council was a governing body directed primarily by the students themselves. Each homeroom had a delegate on the Council and each class was represented by five rep- resentatives-at-large. In the spring of 1963, the students elected Gene Dornbrook to serve as president. Other officers elected by the Council were Don Haberkost, vice-president, Barbara Kent, secretary, Terry Spengler, treasurer, and Gary Mayer, sergeant- at-arms. Advisers were Mr. David Grodhaus and Miss Carolyn Hessert. Primarily a student government organi- zation, Student Council also sold the Archive and the Anvil, collected for the United Appeal.
