ACTIVITIES High-stepping Ellis Moose leads the band. Excellent teachers and a great variety of subjects are a sound basis for an education, but they alone are not enough. For this reason, Valley Forge students are also offered the oppor- tunity to participate in a number of extra- curricular activities. Some clubs, such as the Future Teachers of America and the Distrib- utive Education Club, give their members valuable training for their future vocations. The Leaders Clubs and the Key Club lend their services to both the school and the community, While the Boosters Clubs promote school spirit. The honor societies are highly selective, but once membership is attained, one may be justi- fiably proud. Regardless of the type of club -- social, service, honorary, academic, athletic -- each contributes to further balancing the educa- tion of every Valley Forge student. Archive staff members work diligently to meet their first deadline. 70
