STUDE T LIFE n Jeanne Nesbit finds quiet solitude on the stairs. For members of Valley Forge High School, student life was a combination of all phases of school life. Between the hours of eight in the morning and three-forty in the afternoon, the student's time was occupied by the academics. To balance the scholastic activity, the student participated in many extra-curricular activities. If he was not a member of an athletic team, he was an avid supporter. Because of the varied organizations at Valley Forge, the student had an opportunity to find the ones which best suited his particular personality and interests. For pleasure and relaxation there were dances, concerts, plays, the Spring Carnival, and VF's first hootenanny. Through this diversified school life, the student gained added knowledge and experience that would be remem- bered through the years. After a busy day at school, VF students happily board the waiting buses. 5 6
