SCHOOL D THE COMM ITY Y-TEENS BOTTOM ROW: Betsy Green, Jeanne Nesbit, Sharon Pavlik, Gayle Duplaga, Linda Zaccaro, Ginny Hughes, Sheri Glenn, Judy Kruggel, Sheryl Nash, Linda Toth, Elaine Burke, Sue Meeth, Judy Presley, Cheryl Dietz, Jeanne Cowley, Carol Schueller, Deanna Swalley, Linda Kerins, Carol Georgeff. SECOND ROW: Linda Weiler, Sandra Ammiller, Claudia Sed- lack, Joanne Glowacki, Sharon Roush, Linda Binder, Joyce Olsen, Diane Bartens, Lynne Contofalsky, Loretta Jane Thomas, Service, study, and recreation were the three main objectives of the Y-Teens advised by Mrs. Nancy Volpe and Miss Margie Smith. The group met every other week at Ridgewood YMCA-YWCA, where swimming facilities were available for the girls after each meeting. A get-acquainted party featuring Marge Synk, Sue Wolf, Karen Antall, Elaine Gall, Edelgard Bopple, Karen Kruk, Lana Bryan. THIRD ROW: Kathie Dobro, Marilyn Trepke, Barbara Roberts, Paula Sanyi, Karen Dietz, Linda Werner, Rita Mecsko, Judy Zulauf, Carol Greenberg, Pam Grey, Sue Bolen, Sheryl Meder, Sue Ann Peeora, Lynn Veholz, Florence Hartline, Jackie McDonald, Barb Walder, Karen J ech, JoAnn Incorvia. a folk singing group, started the year's activities. To collect toys for orphans the Y-Teens held a dance charging toys for admission. The club's ,officers were Linda Toth, president, Sue Meeth, vice-presi- dentg Elaine Burke, secretary, and Judy Presley, treasurer. Y-TEENS BOTTOM ROW: Kathi Riley, Charlene Myers, Marty McConald, Linda Sartini, Marcia Duke, Karen Blower, Judy Goebl, Geri Hunt, Sue Schumann, Candy Kaniecki, Kathy Slach, Pam Monachino. SECOND ROW: Caren Klingman, Sue Benedict, Diane Davis, Judi Luke, Diane Stoll, Janet Scott, Barb Sartini, Linda Deacon, Pat Stoddard, Sue Dzurik, Connie DeOreo, Karen Smith, Mary Ellen Karales, Darlene Sollberger. SECOND ROW: Dave Haburchak, Tim Taylor, Rick Goodyear, Ed Folsom, Micheal-Scott, Alan Arthur, Del Drake, Dave Rodgers, Don Shafer, Joe Dagata, Jim Jim Haug informs Gene Zayac and Joe Dagata of the procedure for collecting for United Appeal. 106 Savarda, Jim Gore. THIRD ROW: John Fricker, Gef Foster, Frank Neubecker, Chuck Necker, Mike Schreiber, Del Schu- macher, Tony Kijanko, Mike Yurcheshen, Bill Niro, Gary Mich- alek, Gary Gumz, Jim Marek, Jerry Johnson. Striving to serve the school and the community, the Key Club had a very busy year. Advised by Mr. Walter Schlemmer, the club once again sold calen- dars in the fall of the year and continued to assist a paralyzed girl with her exercises. Sponsored by the Parma Kiwanis Club, the members partici- pated in the United Appeal drive and made charitable contributions during the holiday season. In the spring of the year, the club was repre- sented by a numberlof boys at the state-wide con- vention of Key Clubs in Cincinnati. A

LETTERMQE -OUTSTANDING ATHLETES LETTERMEN BOTTOM ROW: Dante Palange, Ron Mucha, Gary Sefl, Jim Charvat, Ron Sency, Bob Truscello, Dave Preston, John Loebs, Dave Lovelady, Dick Nowak, Thomas Cahal, .lim Thompson, Frank Sandusky. SECOND ROW: Stan Parrish, Earl Graham, Bill Kerlin, Jeff Hartlieb, George Dietz, Tony Hren. The 1963-64 Lettermen's Club was composed of those boys who received school letters for their efforts and achievements in varsity athletics. Mr. Robert Ramlow served as adviser of the group. The officers were Dave Preston, president, Dave Lovelady, vice-presidentg Bob Truscello, secretary, Ed Zaremba, Ellis Moose, Emil Mikulas, John Guska, Butch Speck, Larry Selivaniv. THIRD ROW: Don Caravona, John Ference, Chuck Scavone, Eric Kunz, Dave Kencson, Tom Biller, Jim Bonk, Jay Pruehs, Jim Jankura, Gene Stasiak, Scott Hill, Fred Simcic. and John Loebs, treasurer. The high point of club life came at the end of basketball season. The senior lettermen played the men of the faculty in a basket- ball game which was followed by a dance in the cafe- teria. 108 Lettermen play basketball at their meeting.
