I FORMED ABO T ALL SCHOOL ACTIVITIES Giving complete coverage on subjects of interest to the student body was WVFH, the G'Patriots' Voice on Independencef, Some of the responsi- bilities of the group were the announcing of club meetings and school bulletins, the promotion of school games and dances, and the issuance of edi- torials of school importance. AV CREW AND WVFH KEEP STUDENTS AUDIO VISUAL CREW BOTTOM ROW: Dave Cochran, Rebar,Karen Urban, Al Bachner. THIRD ROW: ,IeffKachelein, Eric Dod,Bob Schmitt, Doug Lichvar, Emi1Mikulas,RichKoharik, Frank Stead, Bill Fixley, Rich Stahurski, Wayne Lukacsko, Larry Coates. SECOND ROW: Rich Martin, Ed Folsom, Roger Henning, Don Gray,Bert Hockenberry. Margaret Grabiec, Joseph Golombek, Richard Schenke, Bob AV crew member, Don Gray, regulates the sound for the morn- ing show. 100 Members of the Audio Visual Crew gained prac- tical experience about the operation of radio and television apparatus as they provided a service for the rest of the school. It was the responsibility of this club to deliver tape recorders, phonographs, and film projectors to teachers for use in class. They were also responsible for producing sound effects for plays, assemblies, and the WVFH morn- ing shows, '6The Patriots' Voice. As an experi- mental project, the crew operated a closed-circuit television camera at all home football games for the benefit of those people in, or near, the concession stands.

STUDENTS PURSUE VARIED TERESTS LATIN CLUB BOTTOM BOW: Laraine Walkup, Candy Marr, Sandy Fritsch, Johanna Kijanko, Kathy McCann, Rick Wojcik, Carol Lohmann, Beth Bubuli, Karen Weber, Linda Benke. SECOND ROW: James Horvath, Sondra Galaboff, Carol Axon, Mary An Naymik, Julianne Mlakar, Marilyn Demeter, Promoting interest in Latin and Roman life was the purpose of the Latin Club. They met bi- monthly and held special events such as the annual Roman Banquet. Officers were Rick Wojcik, presi- dent, Kathy McCann, vice-president, Carol Lohmann, secretary, and Johanna Kijanko. treasurer. Advising this busy and active club was Miss Mary Chambers. Terry Jurick, Barb Christman, Leslie Dahn, Carol Reed, Ann Bur- hoe, Gary Yano. THIRD ROW: Diane Ruppelt, Janet Werkner, Bev Odell, Ginny Hughes, Kathleen Baird, Ted Schiffrik, Bill Fixley, Richard Desmone, Marcia Jones, Anne Zelley, Diane Strmiska, JoAnn Kessler, Carole Kamorowski. Monthly meetings, special projects, and field trips kept the Valley Forge Spanish Club, advised by Mrs. Gail Wagner and Miss Lynn Grathwol, busy. The group attended a Spanish movie and a ballet, ate at a Spanish restaurant, and planned a booth for the All School Party. Officers were Dave Latanik, president, Sue Hermanson and Linda Lopez, vice-presidents, Carol Rzyskowki, secretary, and .lan Trytek, treasurer. SPANISH CLUB BOTTOM ROW: Pat Baker, Chris Chmiel- ewski, George Lignos, Ken Penkal, Tom Dedrick, John Hunter, Carol Rzepkowski, Susan Hermanson, Dave Latanick, Linda Lopez, Janet Trytek, John Fricker, Connie Wolff, Kathy Slach, Tina Lopez, Ann Maxsymin. SECOND ROW: Sue Sappington, Mary Jane Jacobs, Kathy Keiser, Gwen Hausser, Cindy Hassel- schwert, Nancy Kotasek, Judy Kruggel, Claudia Sedlack, Sheryl Nash, Kathie Dobro, Bobby Ann Ehrlich, Elaine Bachman, Linda Hicks, Sue Rakow, Diane Ruppelt, Leslie Dahn, Sharon Herman- 102 son.
