Karen Kutchk0,Francis SiUIJiHI1SkY- 'B The clinic aides were an important service group at Valley Forge. They were trained to admin- ister minor first aid so that they could care for slight injuries and minor illnesses of the students. Also, the girls kept accurate clinic records and acted as pages for the school nurse, Mrs. Shirley Maloch. The numerous volumes of the Valley Forge library were complemented by the wide variety of paperback books found in the bookstore adjacent to the library. Students, under the supervision of Mr. David Grodhaus, served as clerks in the store. Their responsibilities included keeping the shelves in order, selling the books, and keeping records of all purchases. SERVICE GROUPS ASSIST MEMBERS OF LIBRARY PAGES BOTTOM ROW: Linda Miller, Sandy Prusak, Sandy Gross, Donna Wolf, Kerry Courtis, Barb Andrews. SECOND ROW: Nadine Godman, Sandra Felice, Claudia Sedlack, Barb Hornack, Mary Murray, Kathy Kafun, Bev Odell, Many Valley Forge students volunteered their free periods to work as library pages. Charging out books, checking returned books, collecting fines, and filing cards were their duties behind the counter. Circulating around the library, other pages shelved books, ran errands, and helped students locate books. Joanne Pape, Ellen Bier. The busy office staff of Valley Forge was aided by the numerous volunteer office pages. Filing student schedules, working with IBM cards, keeping the office neat, running errands, and performing the miscellaneous duties requested of them by the office personnel were the duties of the volunteers. AV CREW AND WVFH KEEP STUDENTS AUDIO VISUAL CREW BOTTOM ROW: Dave Cochran, Rebar,Karen Urban, Al Bachner. THIRD ROW: ,IeffKachelein, Eric Dod,Bob Schmitt, Doug Lichvar, Emi1Mikulas,RichKoharik, Frank Stead, Bill Fixley, Rich Stahurski, Wayne Lukacsko, Larry Coates. SECOND ROW: Rich Martin, Ed Folsom, Roger Henning, Don Gray,Bert Hockenberry. Margaret Grabiec, Joseph Golombek, Richard Schenke, Bob AV crew member, Don Gray, regulates the sound for the morn- ing show. 100 Members of the Audio Visual Crew gained prac- tical experience about the operation of radio and television apparatus as they provided a service for the rest of the school. It was the responsibility of this club to deliver tape recorders, phonographs, and film projectors to teachers for use in class. They were also responsible for producing sound effects for plays, assemblies, and the WVFH morn- ing shows, '6The Patriots' Voice. As an experi- mental project, the crew operated a closed-circuit television camera at all home football games for the benefit of those people in, or near, the concession stands.
