These are the men who man the whips and hi- lines every few days to bring aboard the replenishment of a modern ship of war. Then in the evening, after a hard days work, they may be called upon to fuel some destroyer, or transfer personnel at sea. Ask any 'Deck Ape' and he will tell you that his Work is never done. M
