Events are recorded here from the student rather than the faculty point of view. The teacher dominates so many of the activi- ties of an educational institution that students welcome opportunities and occasions where they may express themselves unhampered by class- room formalities and faculty supervision. The Blizzard offers such an opportunity, and these pages give an excellent view of student life as it really is-student enthusiasms, ideals, associations, and friend- ships. Long after text-book facts have been forgotten, the events and scenes depicted in this volume will be cherished and relived in mem- ory by those who participated in them.
