She also assisfed wifh fhe hof lunch program. The girls played soffball, baskefball, badminfon, fennis, and did work in fumbling, folk dancing, and archery fhis year. Before coming here, she faughf in New Rockford where she organized fhe firsf archery feam in a Class B school in fhe sfafe. In college she maiored in physical educafion and social science wifh a minor in home economics. Merrill Sfrandberg Biology B. A. Valley Cify S. T. C. Mr. Sfrandberg conducfed classes in biology and world geography. His biology sfudenls performed fhe usual fasks of dissecfing worms, frogs. and cafs. Mr. Sfrandberg was fhe freshman baslcefball coach and his players are definifely Hi-Liner maferial. He was also very acfive as one of lhe iunior home room advisers and was an enfhusiasfic parlicipanf in many of the assembly and pep programs.
