Since there are three sections, the classes will take their turns alternately. The A section, with Virgil Thompson as editor, greets youl. The school year is off to a good start in spite of the heat, wind, and crowded halls. We're getting to know and appreciate our new teachers and our new courses. That science room really has been improved with the addition of the chemistry equipment. New lock- ers have been installed in the second floor to take care of many new students' book problems. We hear one of the nurses told him she'd heard of kids playing off from school, but not the superintendent. We're hoping Mr. Sward can be back with us soon. The viewpoints of a new stu- dent towards Valley High are The school is not over-crowded, that way the teachers are more capable of going from person to person ex- plaining a lesson.
