For the fourth successive year the Sumwick League Championship was a goal attained. Five schools compose the league-- Mulvane, Clearwater, Oxford, Leon, and Valley Center. Much of the credit for wise decisions goes to Marlin Roeder, co-captain, as Eddie Reffner, co-captain, was out most of the season with a knee injury. Some very good new football material was developed this season. We are looking forward to a good season next year with Bob Urbin and Richard Racette as co-captains.
