The Apaches won praise for their fine ef- forts from both school and community, as well as an invitation to represent the North Bay League in the annual Tournament of Champions in Berkeley, a thrilling climax to their 19-7 record for the season. STARTING FIVE STATISTICS: Dave Plump-guard -led team in minutes played-wonderful dribbler- above average rebounder. Frank Mixon-forwarcl-- chosen All North Coast 2nd Team--led Apaches with excellent free throw percentage of 73.4-outstanding field goal percentage of 62.4-I88 rebounds-213 points. Bill Himes-guard-All Tournament Team- second leading scorer with 234 points-fine dribbler -above average field goal and free throw percentages. Jerry Causey--forward and only junior on starting five -All Tournament Team-led in rebounds with 196 and scoring with 262 points-fine field goal and free throw percentages of 39.2 and 67.4 respectively. John Edmondson-center - calming effect coupled with steady field goal and free throw percentages- l64 rebounds.
