There are twenty-five mem- bers of our student council, eighteen of whom are elected, six from each of the three classes, to repre- sent their respective classes in the council. The remaining seven positions are filled by: the Presi- dent of the Student Body, the Vice President of the student body, who acts as head of the council meet- ings, the Secretary of the Student Body, who keeps the minutes of the meetings, two councilmen at large, the Senior Yell Leader and the l-lead Pom Pon Girl. Each member of council is assigned to a com- mittee on which he serves for the duration of his term. A few of the major committees are the Re- capitulation Committee, they Assemblies Committee and the Publicity Committee. On Mondays, Wed- nesdays, and Fridays, the Council meets in regular session to carry on such business as the finances of the Student Body. On Tuesday and Thursday the Council meets in its separate committees to consider particular committee. A debt-of gratitude is owed the merrvbers of Coun- cil for their fine work as the governmental leaders of our Student Body. if Uv' ,
