'U-in The Pep Club had a lot of spirit this year, especially during basketball season. The cheer- ing section had a 96.47 average in basketball for the N.B.L. The club sponsored a dance in the fall which was very successful. Through the offi- cers, the club acquired emblems, pom pons, hats, sweaters, and, most of all, school spirit. A car caravan was one of the outstanding activities this year. The caravan ended at the Mare Island Waterfront Park where a rally was held. There were many other rallies with entertainment and cheers. The rallies consisted mainly of the cheerleaders, Pom-Pon girls, and were directed by rally commissioner, Gail Web- ster, appointed by the Student Body president.
