VARSITY BASKETBALL The Apache varsity basketball team fought their way through a rugged season with l6 games won and only 6 losses Every game was packed full of outstanding and exciting basketball Games such as the one with Drake in which Drake managed to pull out and win in the final seconds 39 38 The Santa Rosa game proved another thriller when our Apaches blasted the final shot to win 40 39 Larry Himes turned in an out standing season leading the Apaches all the way with sharp shooting and tremendous ball handling. Other o u ts t a n d i n g performers were, Wilson Williams, James John- son, Joe Schultz, Earsell Makbee and Willie Anderson.
