STUDENT COUNCIL Standing: Mr, Charles VanGorden-Advisor, Rod Welker, Kelly Wentworth, Rusty Rideout Sitting: Duane Monroe-President, Pam Monroe-Vice President, Myma Chatlain-Secretary-Treasurer, Julene Powers. This years Student Council met once a week to pass petitions for the classes different activities. They also said the pledge in the mornings and announced the National School Assemblies. The Student Council presented a T -shirt to the Wrestler of the Week, Defensive Player of the Week and Headhunter of tlie Week. After Girls' Basketball season was over they sponsored a taco dinner in the girls' honor. During Christmas season they sponsored a Christmas drawing, decorated the tree, and decorated tire lunchroom for the Christmas dinner. For money making projects they showed the movie, The Shakiest Gun in the West. 27
