P-R-I-D-E WE’VE GOT PRIDE The A-squad cheerleaders led the students of VHS in support of the Panthers. They practiced twice a week after school. To raise money for their uniforms they raffled an 8-track tape deck and speakers. Their sponsor was Miss Laird. The B-squad cheerleaders were the encouraging force behind the Panthers who will be the leaders of VHS in the coming years. They did odd jobs and sold magazine subscriptions during the summer.
